I just got it yesterday. Came about 75% charged and quickly charged with my macbook charger to 100%. I just went out and filled up the tires on my van, from 30 PSI to 35 PSI (all four tires). Worked well, and battery down to 83%. The connector at the bottom does get quite hot while filling up tires, so be careful. I have not used it to jump start a car yet, hopefully I won't have to any time soon (I purchased it because our battery died on a recent outing and we had to wait a long time for AAA service). For most people, this is the only device you would need in the car. Most common issues for cars are low air and dead batteries. This device solve both problems. With 2000A it can start trucks. I have a car that has been sitting in my drive way for 3 months... I figured, no chance that thing will start and I can test this out. Murphy's law: it started right up. So, there goes my chance to really test this thing out... Next time it doesn't start, I'll try this. Tires are full.. why, why does my car have to be reliable!?? I did play with it in the kitchen. If you turn on the air compressor, it will scare your kids and wife, which means that it does work. I was able to get the light on, but I wasn't clear on how to put the light into a flashing mode. The jumper cables seemed very nice. I am excited to try them, soon as that stupid car stops working again. I am curious if I could leave this charging this off of the car battery (on a ignition connected power) so that when I do need it, it'll be 100% charged. I might have to try it, except my stupid car has constant-on POWER ports. When the time comes, I swear on the soul of my father, Domingo Montoya, that I will try this out and update this review. ---------- Update: I used it this morning to pump up the tires on my SUV. It took about 10 minutes per tire to go from 25 PSI -> 35 PSI... Rather slow, but it did turn off on it's own when it was done and I wasn't in a hurry. This is great for that cold-weather tire pressure change. Doing this depleted the charge of the battery, so be sure to plug it in when you are done. -------------- Update: I finally used it to jump start my car. My car was not dead, but did not have enough power to start. I was panicked because I had to somewhere in 30 minutes and did not have a working car to jump it. Everything looks & works great. Bought 3 of these for.my daughters. It's easy to use & does what it should. BUT, this is where they screwed up. The unit contains a car cigarette plug adapter. BUT it cannot be connected to the car. This adapter has a female connection. Every 12DC cigarette lighter plug in ever car that I've ever owned is also a female plug. There is NO WAY to connect these two female plugs. WHO DID THIS? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? This about the dumbest think that I have ever seen. UNBELIEVABLE !!!! Leggi di più
