En un Mac Mini 2018 no sobran precisamente las conexiones ni el espacio de almacenamiento, por lo que tuve que acudir a usar un NVME externo en una carcasa. Por otro lado, tenía un HUB para añadir más puertos USB, y al final acabo usando todos los puertos y tengo dos cacharros colgando del Mac. Con este accesorio, quito un cacharro de la mesa, libero un puerto y tengo prácticamente los mismos puertos USB que antes, así que es una opción muy a tener en cuenta. La velocidad del NVME es la misma que con la otra carcasa, por lo que no pierdo nada en ese sentido. Muy recomendable.Leggi di più

I always seem to be carrying drives around with me. Most of them are HDD, but I do have a Crucial 1TB M.2 SSD so I was able to give this a whirl with that. The SSD installs easily, I wasn't able to really test out the read/write speeds but they seemed okay. The PC I was using had a USB-A port so I was also using a USB-C to type A adaptor which isn't ideal, but it worked - that's the main thing. I love these sorts of dongles, they add so much extra functionality to slimline laptops, I have used this with an Ethernet port and power so that the one single USB-C port on my laptop was used for power, internet, and also to connect to a monitor via HDMI - and I had memory drives plugged into the USB ports and everything worked fine. You could of course use it to connect wired/wireless mouse/keyboard should you wish. I was surprised at the size of this as it's no bigger than the ones I have which don't house an SSD. In addition to being used with a PC/Laptop, this works well with Smartphones/tablets too so that you can access external storage or use with a TV. I don't like connecting my devices to a TV, but having access to external memory is something I find very useful at times.Leggi di più

Von den technischen Raffinessen die dieser NETAC USB-Hub bietet waren die ersten USB-Hub’s Lichtjahre entfernt. Der Netac USB-Hub bietet viel zu einem wie ich finde angemessenen Preis angesichts des beträchtlichen Funktionsumfanges: 2 USB-A 3.0 Hochgeschwindigkeitsschnittstellen mit 5 Gpbs Lese- und Schreibgeschwindigkeit 1 Anschluss mit PD3.0 Schnellladung und einer wirklich sagenhaften Ladeleistung von satten 100 Watt. Wer braucht da noch ein Ladegerät? 1 4k 30hz HDMI-Ausgang – Schade, dass es keine 60 Hz sind aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. 1 RJ45 10 – 1000 Mbps LAN-Anschluss Und als Krönung ein Fach für eine M.2 NVME SSD in 2230mm, 2242mm, 2260mm und 2280mm Schnittstelle. Letztere ist allerdings auch nur mit einem Schuhlöffel hineinzuzwängen, obwohl gerade auch die 2280er unter den M.2 NVME SSD's die gebräuchlichste Größe ist, ein paar mm längeres Gehäuse wären da wirklich hilfreich gewesen, aber gut mit Geduld und Spucke kann man die SSD dann doch hinein quetschen. Diese Kombi praktischer Features macht den Netac USB Hub sehr attraktiv für alle Anwender die all diese Anschlüsse nicht haben und deren Laptop aber wenigstens einen USB-Anschluss hat, so dass dieser USB-Hub den Funktionsumfang des Gerätes kräftig erweitert. Gerade die Möglichkeit eine M.2 SSD einzubauen ist eine Super Idee, die eigentlich jede Festplatte und jeden USB-Stick in die Ecken verweist und überflüssig macht. So far so good. I've had this device the Netec WH41 connected to my Mac Studio and also tested it on my Pixel 7Pro, it appears to work perfectly. The M.2 drive I installed works pretty fast, I saw speeds approaching 144.3MB's write and 396.6MB's read, this is obviously goign through the USB C connection and is pretty fast. The unit has 2 USB3 ports also, I tried these with 2 memory sticks and was able to mount them fine. I also connected the RJ45 to a spare network cables and the connection appeared in my settings. I struggled to find an M.2 drive that I could get to fit, apparently only B Key B&M Key SSD's work, since most of my NVMe's are PCI-E's - Luckily I had 1x64GB B & M keyt. You should check to make sure that you install the right type, the PCI-E's NVMe's are a close fit. I tested the HDMI and was able to get 4K @ 30hz too. I tested on my Google Pixel 7 Pro and it detected both USB keys installed and was able to access those without issues. Its a handy size just to keep close by when somebody needs to quickly transfer files. Its a little pricy at £36 quid but if you have a need for something to hold your M?S SATA drive and backup your USB keys then this would be ideal for you. The price made me drop to 4 stars, I've seen similar devices at a slightly lower price point.Leggi di più
